In all the adventures that we have known Alain and me, the raid Bochiman is by far my favorite. Of course, I like speed and racing and the raid Bochiman is not in this category, but it combines two concepts that make me vibrate: wilderness adventure and cars. For me, what distinguishes the raid Bochiman is its proximity, because it operates in another dimension than that which is usual, the participants are at the heart of this new dimension, but in the position as actors. Nearby? One is the proximity of those involved in the raid and discovered in them, unknown facets of themselves in a wild environment where nothing is defined and where we need to adapt quickly to each new situation. Then, the proximity to men and women that we find sometimes but if the poor seemed so happy at the same time, despite their poverty. Finally, the proximity of the fauna and flora, as the raid Bochiman, you live in something exciting and at every moment a surprise awaits you: this cheetah who nap under his favorite tree, this family of lions that part in hunting, this elephant running through your approach, to find his young, this hippopotamus that flows out of the water, propelling his formidable mass height unexpected or these ostriches making the race with your car more than 60Km / h. Every minute, every second is an opportunity for something to come forward and surprise you. But what I love most in the raid Bushmen, is this poetry that equips the trip. Poetry in the landscape, in the light, the smells of the bush so special, in the behavior of animals taken from life and in the interpretation of the story you will certainly make of your day at the step in the eye with this little light, the firefly fun reworked.
